Well since i wont be able to use my computer for a week I decided to release this mod now.
Description: Once was a peaceful place with a sacred water but now the water has dried up do to the warm temperature.
Everything in the map
Skinned
New Headlong Sky
Palm Trees at certain places (no collison didnt have enough time to fix but i will)
Broke Down Truck/Van (to show that people once lived here)
MrBalll wrote:Yeah it looks good. But like everyone said lose the trucks and don't replace weapons with trees, just add chunks to the map.
yea i did at first but then the X cordinate made some spawn underground and the truck is only there if u put warthog on map cuz i didnt think some people will like it but in a week i will fix it after i am not grounded (for my report card)
that blows. I got bad report card too. ^_^. Yess I'm not alone. LOL. I'm lucky though my parents see moding as a way for me to learn.
Sorry for going off topic.
#2: if the water dried up as you say it indeed did, make the trees look all withered and the such. It shouldn't be hard to skin the leaves to make them look that way (maybe you did? It's hard to tell from the pictures)
#3: is the superjump platform shooting out water? If so, that doesn't totally fit your theme, but I could be wrong.
#4: get rid of the truck as it doesn't really fit in the map, althogh it fits well with the theme. I think that if you leave the truck, give it a rusted paint job and put some bullet holes in it to look like the trucks I find abandoned out here in the desert.
In all, however, I really like the textures and the feel of this map. Living in a desert myself, I can say this feels much like home (except for the palm trees). Good work!
