Bleh, I was totally out of my mind yesterday trying to find something to do, so I decided to give skinning another go. Ontop of the skin there is trees and random fires across the map, along with some heavy dust and fog to give it a better atmosphere. I don't think its as good as some of my other skins. But I thought it was good enough to post. :P

And I added another Gate (Opens when you get close to it :D) along with some real time shadowing just for the hell of it.

O and if anyone can think of a better name, please do. ( I know mine sounds retarted)

Amazing
This fits zanzibar perfectly
At first I thought the trees were bad because they are to dark but then I realized there are fires so now it looks like burnt trees :D :D

i'm sure going to give this a try. i like how you add a little somethhing nice each time, last time it was the MLX, the curved palmtree :wink: and now you have a openable gate when you get close. uber :D
where would i go doing that. i'd love having an auto-openable gate

scorched earth sounds good i think

and i like it, you just need to make the brick texture alot darker and maybe a few patches of darkness on certain areas to simulate burn marks then it would look great.

Haha glad that real time shadow stuff has kicked off...In two zanzibar skins already! 8)

Anyway...Its a fairly good skin...Not as atmospheric as the others simply because the textures dont blend fully...The brick texture basically, it stands out so much compared to the rest...Darken it or find a different brick texture...A more gritty one...

"Temperature critical"?
"Boiling point"?
"Fire first ask questions later" :lol:
