HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Sourceguy has just given me the go ahead to hold a offcial competition for the graphics savvy to design a new halomods Logo.
Dimentions are:
270 pixels long by 70 pixels high.
The contest will be held from today 24th january 2009 for 2 weeks that is till the 7th of Febuary.
After that date the admissions will be closed and the judging will begin.
The judges will be the users of this site that means you lot.
You may use any application you choose be it paint, gimp, photoshop or even 3d software to render the new logo.
The logo must consist of the word "Halomods" and suited for the forum theme suitibly [bright red or other colours that stand out like a sore thumb are requested to be avoided] use any font you choose though.
remember you have 2 weeks so get going.

I think that if we are to re-design the logo at all, we could go in an entirely different direction with it.
Maybe kind of like HIH, with a rotating set of logos that users submit.

I'm in but I'm going to think outside ze box.

With Trulife's submission in mind, I'm gonna ask people to use the actual halomods font, not use the current hand-drawn logo instead. If we're making a new logo it'd be better to base it off something consistant like the font than this crooked irregular one.

I may enter myself, I'll edit this in future if I do.

I suggested this back when we were coming up with the design. Great minds think alike. :p

If I remember correctly, seasonal changes of the logo was more popular than a rotating logo.
(I still like the rotater idea though. :p )

If the logo is rotated then, these would be better.

Try making one with the Wide Awake font. A.k.a. the HaloMods logo font.
