Chief is poorly cut, and the text is way in your face, so I would just remove that. Cool other than that I reckon.

its not that he is poorly cut out i blended him with the background to give the illusion that he is exiting the cloudy loading into the town

Haha, no no, I caught that. ;) The render itself is choppy, and it's not because of the effect you were going for. You want edges with a smooth flow, not choppy edges that make the render awkwardly stick out. Think Assassin's Creed.. you want him to stand out, but not attract too much attention.

gotcha! maybe a blur effect around edges?

Maybe a little, but that could also potentially do harm as well. For starters, re-cut the render using the Pen Tool's to draw around the render for a more detailed cut, then convert the paths to a selection in the "Paths" tab in the layers box.

Instead of posting everything you make, why not improve upon certain techniques? Go Here find some good sig tutorials, do those, play around with the tutorials a bit, and make something of decent quality. Just looking through your last few threads, the quality of them aren't getting any better. So do please look through some resources, find some tutorials and improve your technique.

I actually think he's improving a lot... quite rapidly really.
Looking through the things he started posting with to current threads I see a big difference.
Sure there's still room to improve, but you are getting better.

I would also revisit the text. I did a quick look at TypeNow and DaFont but didn't find the exact font for Assassin's Creed.
You might be able to find a good substitute though.

Compare your piece with the original text/font setup of some of the wallpapers, and try to match it. That would improve it a lot.

Thanks Ketchup, i think i tend to rush a project through than thoroughly taking my time on the details then i end up having to fix it later but i am trying to slow that down a bit.. i lost the .PSD file so i will have to totally redo it or just leave it as is.. but thank you for the help and advise

And yes i will try not to post as many topics in such close intervals i was looking at the forum and my name is all over the place lol
