I remember making a post a while back about fractals but everyone was scared of it because it contained math.

Just feels a little too basic (for a fractal, that is) to me...try getting a little crazy, you can get some of the neatest results from just fooling around with the program.

That is what I usually do but I wanted something more organized. So I know how things work.

I'd suggest you try to move up and beyond just fractal work. I really don't know the in-depth process of making fractal's, but it seems like it'd be one of those things where you can just put in some random numbers, and come out with a result. I'm not saying that's what you do, but it'd be far more impressive if you could blend it with other types of digital art. (Like photo manipulations). That being said, it's cool to look at.
