I tried making a sig, but after a while I just had one of those "oh shit, I messed up" moments, and didn't really have the urge to go back and redo everything.
Insults anyone? For those wondering, I'm aware the background is shit (that would be my "mess up"), but I liked the way the render itself was turning out and I still kinda do...I just wasn't paying enough attention to how my background was turning out through all this.
Original Ike image used.

I don't really like it, to be honest ;x
The render and the background don't really fit together at all. Although, the background looks alright.

It's unfinished...I literally just looked at it at one point and closed it...it's not meant to have a border/text.
Yes, the background is flat, that is the main problem (and clashing colors I suppose, but the lack of depth is because I overdid the blur). No, it is not a brush (in the sense that I did not use the Brush tool), I smudged a stock.

Unfinished.

Eh, maybe the background would have worked in a different setting...I completely forgot to Colorize the C4Ds and stock I used to match the render, so it's just a smörgåsbord of colors.

Well brush as in something you DL'd off of DA.
But I think you should finish it... IT HAS POTENTIAL!!!!

Stock brush with the spread (whatever makes it spaced out and more "random") setting changed, nothing more.
Black/white version.
Bordered black/white. - I dislike the way the loss of colors "kills" the effects on the sword.
Bordered regular.

I think it looks better B&W.
Or in this case, if the person is a similar color of the background.
I hope you don't mind that I used you image, if so I'll take it down.

Meh, I like the way the render looks as it is now (mainly for the colors of the sword effects), but the background just doesn't work.

Everything render wise is rather nice, but the background just doesn't work. You messed up. :p Still, I do like what you did with that render, so I wouldn't completely let that go to waste.
