Firebomb- 3d fanart

Post by spartanx5 »

I decided to restart a Halo art project I had planned a long time ago, which was unfortunately postponed due to my personal life. I have recreated the firebomb from Halo 3 in a level of detail I hope is somewhat realistic. Feel free to comment and give your idea of what I should do next, or a list of things I should do.

Also despite simplicity the Model is far too poly-heavy for game use, though once I am done with my project I might optimize the models and release them for use. Depends on how things go.

Thank you,
Dan Gerstner

Haha, I always take my own pictures for textures, and I didn't want to use a generic noise map or anything for subtle details. It just kind of worked together I guess. To be honest If i take the layer off there isn't a big difference, but I always find the subtle things can always add the little extra edge.
