Try to see the outer glow as scratched because the rest is indented

On the preview, It looks like you were a bit off with the slicing.
Overall, I really like the design. It looks nice, and it's easy to navigate.

It looks good. I don't like how crooked it is because I have to turn my head to look at it, but I like it.

It's kind of weird, especially since the text in the preview doesn't flow with the template.

Like Cox said, more orange for sure. Consider it around the glow. Afterwards try applying some lite effects to give the miscellaneous more of a rugged look. From there, you're over doing the indents. The buttons shouldn't go even deeper into the image. That makes them detract attention rather than attract. Afterwards you just need to fill in all that empty space.
