I have an assignment for history in which I am supposed to create a newspaper that has articles about Ancient Greece. This was my first time using InDesign so it was a good learning experience. The Guidelines were as followed:
"For this assignment you will be working in groups of 3 or 4. Each group will produce a newspaper or a report on life in Classical Greece.

Each person in your group is responsible for researching one of the following areas and writing a minimum of 250 words each. Each person is also responsible for including a visual to support their article (With descriptopns/explanations of each)"

p.s. I'm looking more at what you think of the layout more than the actual information.

Do you still have time to change it?

It's pretty decent overall, but maybe try a different font for the headlines. Even though it's a modern paper, maybe try Old London. It's a good medieval-looking font.

Also, the body text of any newspaper I've ever seen is justified, so I'd definitely change that if you can.

I love the AG ad. Rest is fine I suppose for the project, though I may recommend adding some really scratchy effects or putting it on a stone tablet with some Greek written here and there.

What school do you go to?. We had the same assignment at my school.

First off, disable hyphenation so you have proper journalistic copy...also justify your font in the copy blocks so it is easier on the reader and adheres more to the column-based layout.

I tried a few different fonts for the header but nothing seemed to really fit.

Trep, Luckily I did a few of those things before today because I had my dad print it on a large sheet (12x17?) something like that. Anywho thanks for all the help. I think it turned out well, if I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
