It seems to have too much black in it. I don't really like it coz of that.

Crop, cut, layer style, slight image clean-up using blur with maybe necessary use of clone stamp? Anything else and you did way too much work than required. Essentially a 3 minute job including Photoshop start-up time. The outcome from what little you did looks kinda neat, but it's still not really yours.

Practice is fine, but you can't expect much when you post practice work.

Anyways yeah the sig just doesnt look nice, You need to try and create all aspects of your sig by hand, dont use others resources create your own, thats a true artist.
