Not really, but if it's your first it's a good way to start out.
Now, "Why does it suck O mighty Infern0" you might ask me.
Well, the text just doesn't cut it, it looks really bland and the font is rarely if never used. Try to look up some text tutorials.
The background.. ehh, it looks symmetrical, I'll give you that.
But it doesn't blend with the render. It's placed on the left while the background just explodes into all different directions. Best is to let the background flow with the render, in this case springing from the base of the render and going up or right.
Now for the render itself, the placement is just.. not good. Try to place it in a position where you can blend it the best with the background.
Well, I hope you can learn a bit from these tips.
And always keep in mind that signatures are not real graphics, but just for fun.
