a small app thats coming along how do you guys like the GUI?

Also i was going to make an app like this ask Detox lolz.

It seems flat. No parts really stand out, as I would picture the buttons doing.

I would make the stuff over the album art more transparent.

I don't know...Perhaps its the buttons, or the blue, or the "gloss", but I don't really like it...

Actually, I do like the small top part. The gloss doesn't look bad there, and the extra glow on the buttons is nice... the rest though, not so much...The transparent blue pattern might be what i don't like.

The app is coming soon for those who want it.

You've improved on all aspects I like it a lot more now...

If I did have to complain maybe lower the depth just a tad...I mean only slightly

Text for sure really needs improvement for the UI. Working with Touchpanel layouts, I've learned that rounder based fonts go good with rounder buttons. Try something like Century Gothic, Helvetica or Futura. Get a good Stock font Family and stick to it. The Commercial font sets tend to add a good clean feel to it. The Transparent part above the Album art would look better with a less saturated color, work more towards the grays a bit more.

To be honest Kirk its gonna look busy this media player is going to have tons of features and I really do much more simplifying, Cuda im going to do what you did because I can see what you mean thanks for all the feedback.
