I don't post here alot cuz most of my signatures and avatars are kinda crappy
but I really liked how these came out, so I decided to post them

it has a border, its white. so its kinda hard to see

I think you should make the background into a transparency, and make the white border black, or just remove it altogether.
I like the text and that L looking thing by his visor, though.
EDIT: Wait, that IS an L. :3

Does not flow, whatsoever.
The render does not go along with the text at all, nor does the text go along with anything in the signature. Hate to say it, but it practically could have been done in paint.
Good start.

There is a complete lack of background, which results in a complete lack of depth.
Simple is good if it flows well, but like Kirk said, it doesn't.
Text choice doesn't really make sense imo either. I like the avatar better out of the two though.

Some type of clean pen tool design behind the text would really make this sig tight. lol
