Heh, thats what I needed. I didn't really know how to do planet textures. Is it something other than Photoshop or something?

well, you do have a lot of options, but the prefered way by most space artists is to use satellite images, and the clone stamp tool to edit out the texture so no one knows what province you used.

you could use some grunge brushes, but the color blending will be nasty, so i'd suggest that you do the preferred way.

The planet seems as if it's made out of silver. The bright light in the center looks odd and the background is too plain, but hey, it's your first. 4/10
