First C4D Render

So I was messing around with C4D and decided I would actually learn how to use it a little bit. I found an HDRI tutorial and this was a simple, but cool IMO, looking result:

It doesnt look that bad considering its your first. Did you add a HDRI material to a sky? Heres a good tut for learning how to use hdri's in c4d.

Yeah, I learned aboot adding the HDRI mats to the sky, I just blurred the material alot because it was reflecting to much in the orb. I think it may be that I have a bad set of HDRI maps, cause on all the ones I've used, the bottom half has been black, and in the tutorial I used, the guy had a map that covered the entire sky object and you were supposed to rotate the sky object so that the image you want reflected would be facing away from the camera. If you have any resource sites (besides dA, been there already ;p) with materials and HDRI maps and whatnot, you should totally post it. >_>

Well DA is a good place ot get hdri's but if you want tuts for c4d www.c4dcafe.com is a great place.
