it actually looks pretty good, but why a les paul? do an ibanez rg2ex1 next or an ibanez SA2120FM. links to them are here:
rg2ex1
SA2120FM
i'd love to see you do either of those.

ibanez > gibson, and ill tell you why, but don't get off topic past this post.
gibsons are the fender of music. gibsons and fenders may both have good tone, but they are primarily used for blues music, although commonly, and i emphasize on commonly, mistaken for rock and roll guitars. i say ibanez is better for getting your metal riffs and licks down right, whereas the gibson les paul is best used for getting down blues or soft rock down right. its all in the fret board, tremelo, and pickups. i like ibanez guitars for 3 reasons: tone, quality, and style. but whatever suits you in guitar choice is fine, i just prefer ibanez for its better ability to let me do my speed metal songs. ibanez's are also cool looking, and come in a variety of styles, and are fully customizable, but gibsons are not all that customizable only because you cant change the tremelo (bridge) without cutting open the guitars body. i know so, cos ive tried. now, back on topic little people.

I personally think both brands are amazing, but it depends on the style you play. My next guitar that I am buying is an Ibanez RG2EX1 in black and im gonna cut out the bridge and install a floyd rose in there

Maybe Ill paint on of those later. Id show you all an update on the Les Paul now, but the .psd is on a school PC because I painted it at school :X
EDIT: Also Xiion, you got to love 24 jumbo frets!

Instead of making a new thread, Im just renaming this to guitar paints.
Anyways, here is an RG2EX1 I just did. Its still a wip, and I soon hope to add strings and fix the body color.

nice! but why are all the nobs and the tremelo brown? thye should be silver to add for a cooler more blendable effect.

They arnt really brown, they are like a greyish brown. And the bridge doesnt have a tremolo system....yet

Ill add the rest ofthe system, strings, and change the knob color in a tad bit, just got home.

BC Rich > All other guitars
(Fender owns on quality, BC Rich on design)
By the way, good job on both guitars.

false. fenders quality is horrible on many terms. although preferred for beginners, fenders are bad in quality. the clear plastic they come wrapped in is hard to get off if you have never owned a guitar before, the strings rust up really easily if you use the fender strings, pickups don't clean up noise, only 18-22 frets, nobs fall off easily, many things bad with fenders, bc rich's are only good if you get a warlock that isnt a bronze series.
on topic, i think you should just update the first post to display all the pics you make. it'll help alot better so i wont have to scroll all the way down the topic page to see any new updates.

Dam, I thought that first picture was real. I thought you had edited it in Paint shop and I just couldnt see what it was, until I realized you meant photoshop and that it was from scratch. Very nice.

I hate you. Do you have any evidence that fenders are preferred for beginners? Fender has been the staple of the American guitar industry for decades of course, and for you to degrade the quality of said company is outrageous. You say that "fenders quality is horrible on many terms" because the
plastic is hard to get off?!
You said that the strings rust up really easily if you use the fender strings? A high majority of guitars aren't intended to be used for a lifetime running on the same strings. The mildly experienced guitar player knows to change his/her strings AT LEAST once in a while.
The amount of frets is completely negligible when discerning quality, might I add.
Furthermore, you state that fenders are meant to be played for blues and such, and that they are commonly mistaken as rock and roll guitars. Note that Yngwie Malmsteen's guitar of choice is a Fender Stratocaster; is he as well mistaken in his guitar selection?

If you guys want to talk about guitars, go make a thread in the cafe.
This topic is about the images, no more guitar discussion.
