Smooth? Yes. Clean? No. The navigation section is pretty sleek, but the layout as a whole (in my opinion) would not be a good choice as your portfolio. Portfolios aren't just meant for posting a little artwork here and there; we have DeviantArt for that. Portfolios are meant to help build up Larger galleries and work. This looks like a half-decent clan site.

hmm, i shall see to that shout. but as for the other comments, i am glad you all like it, and i will see to changing the X and G's color to a more brighter one, or give it an outline.

can you give some suggestions on how to make the part underneath the navigation bar into a really clean portfolio design?

Re-format it. I'd use one big block instead of a bunch of content boxes.

god im so unmotivated to finish up the slicing and css coding, as well as making the animation and sounds for this. >.< work is work, though, and don't expect a finished version anytime this month or the next. see to it around summer time near the end of it, if I'm lucky with this damn thing.

It's a little tall in my opinion, but hey, I'm using a 1280x800 monitor..
When doing a page design, you should always try and make sure it's completely visible without any scrollbars on a 1024x768 screen, which means the height should max out around 600 pixels.

Also, it's not a good idea to rely too heavily on non-standard fonts, try to stick to the ones that come with Windows when doing actual text.

Other than those things, it looks pretty cool.

Looks great! But why would you want to use standard windows text? :? The text you have fits it perfectly imo.

Maybe the non-standard fonts wont load properly?

Im not sure.

Anyways, I like all of it, just I think you should properly spell "graphics" to make it look more professional.

something about the text on the left text boxes is getting to me... are they meant to be off centered? just curious if that was meant to be or if thatll be fixed.

other than that its amazing.
