HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/462/ravnzzk3.png Yeah, I know, I am muuuuy horrible with GIMP, but i'm trying to learn a little bit here and there. So, I was basically just playing with all of the different buttons and filters to learn what each one did, and here's a few sigs that I made. There's only a few, but each one is focusing on different things. The first was transparency and Free-Hand drawing. The second is playing with Gradients in circle modes. The final is one of RaVNz's, that I experimented with Filters on. If anyone can point me in the direction of good GIMP tutorials and GIMP compatible brushes, toss me a link. After some searching on deviantart, I found ONE gimp brush, but it was roughly 2,000x2,000 pixels. Yikes.







So, ratings, I guess. Keep in mind that I'm still quite inexperienced with GIMP.

Why's Ravnz's sig on there?

I like Ravnz's better without filters.

Yay for mediocrity. I've got a REAL sig in the works, one I actually spent more than 5 minutes on. I'm looking for a render right now, suggestions appreciated.
