This took a lot of time. Around 7 1/2 hours.

This is what the picture is based on

I drew a freehand sketch of Leonardo's face while looking at the source, and used the source at a low opacity to fix the positioning of a few of the parts of his face. After that, it was all freehand, with the source open next to it.

Things I'm working on for next V:

• Hairline
  Skin
  Facial Hair
  Maybe a light background

One eyebrow looks Arab, the other, a caucasian female. Other than that, yeah I pointed out the hairline to you earlier, but nonetheless it's incredible. There's even a point of blurring to add realism, regardless of if you did that on purpose.

Thanks, regarding the eyebrows, in the source picture, his right eye is encased in shadows, as well as the right side of his face, I tried to simulate that in the drawing, but I didn't add enough to the the rest of his eye, so it just made it look like he needs a pluck or two.

Woah, what kind of pencils did you use for this? Charcoal perhaps?

The rest of the image simply needs to be darker. You made one portion darker while the rest is very white, I think if you darkened the rest of it to the brightness of the original photo, I think it'd look a lot better.

Version 2 is win. Purely amazing. The shading definitely did it.

Whoa nice job. But the left eyebrow is still too thick compared to the right...

Meh, I tried to make it as close as I could to the source, and the lighting on the source makes the eyebrow look rather large from the shadow, and I emphasized the darkness and shadows around the rest of his face in the newer version.

It looks great, but he looks a bit angrier than the source picture.

Narker likes looking at men.

Looks really good and all. But I must ask, why DiCaprio?
