The big planet is extremely aliased; fix it.

The starfield could use some work, there's too many and most of them look the same.

I'm sorry, but I really really don't like it.

To be honest it looks really bad. Unless your piece has nice quality dont make it that big. The big planets quality is horrible and it doesnt really make sense that the bottom of it is all lit up when theres no light source under it. The stars and the northern lights need work, and you really need to fix the pixelation(word?) on almost all the edges.

I don't like it. The colors don't work and the lighting on the planet seems like it doesn't fit.

The light source is the northern lights... >.> it's kinda obvious.

The Northern Lights look like vomit, and how the heck are those 3 planets so close? Nothing in the image makes sense. And why is everything so sharp? Spill it, which one of you made the lights?

NSN made the terragen render, the person on the terragen render, and the planet on the very top. Xiion made the rest of it and meshed it together, sharpening them, etc.

The Northern Lights just look like an Apophysis render with a rainbow color gradient.

Foolishness on both parts? Interesting.

how is that foolish?

for the sharpening method, i tryed maca's tutorial he made for me...

not like you asked or anything, but it would be nice for people to know these things.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that a lot of this was learning. I'm not very experienced in terragen, and Xiion tried some new things out. We might improve it sooner or later.

I understand what method you were going for. I was saying the method doesn't function well with the image. Maybe this is exactly the outcome you were going for, but by posting it here, you made it eligible for public opinion. 7/12% of the public opinion don't like the method. That is why it was foolish. Aside from that, the image simply makes no sense. I consider myself a very abstract thinker and I still can't see what's going on. Which is not what an artist should want.

@NSN: I'm all for learning experience, but I think you know more that what you've shown in this image.
