Wilford Brimley has Diabeetis

This is just a sketch with a little bit of airbrushing, I didn't want to add color. This didn't take nearly as long as the Maggie painting, seeing as how I left many rough lines, didn't spend much time on the shading, and didn't add color. So don't tell me it's not as good as the others, I know already. I was going for the sketch effect.

If you don't know this guy but recognize him, you have probably seen his advertisements for Liberty Medical. These beautiful commercials are now of legend status, and have had many different takes on them, as displayed in the following video:

That video... was the weirdest thing I have seen in quite a while...

Anyway, the sketch thing is pretty well done, I like it from a artistic standpoint. But I still have to ask the question: WTF?

Looks too much like a gesture drawing for my tastes.

It pretty much is, if I wanted to, I could continue touching up the lines and working on the detail to make it a more realistic piece.

If you had read my first post, you would have seen that I said that I was aiming for the sketch effect. Why would I continue working on something to make it something that I wasn't aiming for? That's like telling Michelangelo to paint the Statue of David.

Hey Xiion, how about you stop making space scenes which consist of the circular marquee tool and patterns from The Google and do something original for a change? Your condescending manner obviously suggests that you can produce superior work that what I have shown.

all i was saying is," lets see what it'd look like after a brief update on details" not "hey, Narker, lets get back into that big ol' fight we had a while back which almost resulted in a perm ban for both of us!" dont take it so harsh, you always do this to me, as it seems; all i want is to see a more detailed version, just to see how good you are.

Refer to my other work to see "how good I am".

Wasn't he on a Family Guy episode? Nice sketch, except that thing in the top left corner, if thaqt's your signature, then it's akward.
