[WIP] Tears of Blood (Defines 'teh suck' atm)

I really like the concept, but I'm trying to make the blood look more realistic. I know that there's no border, and it's slightly stretched; both of those will be fixed in the final version. Also, yes it is emo (I'm not). Tips Appreciated.

Meh, not very good.
If I were you, I'd find a picture where there's actually a tear in the eye, and just make the tear blood red.
Then again, I wouldn't make something like this. >_>

Not considering how unrealistic the blood is, I'd still say bad. You're trying to capture an emotion that simply isn't there. And your execution is poor as well. Scratch what you have a look a pictures of people who do actually weep blood. And don't stop there, you may want to consider editing the whole image. It just looks so plain.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm only offering advice. The image is yours.

Hm. What is it with eye sigs now? I got one, and now others are trying to copy me
Like you already identified, the blood needs work. Work on it a bit more, and I can give you a more definitive answer. I honestly don't like the picture of the eye to begin with, but I like how the tear duct is visible under the blood.

Ok, like I said, I like the concept on this one; so I'm not going to ditch it. I just didn't know what I could do next to make it look better. I'll follow some of those tips, see what I can come up with.

the blood there is obviously fake (it's evenly transparent across the whole thing) and isn't really blood red, and it's to high. like, in pictures of people crying, there's a thin line of tear in the bottom of the eye, and a thin trickle from the corner usually. aslo, if you have any sort of temptation to make a drop, don't.

Stop posting comments like the one above. He's gotten ten "really bad" responses. Either post with suggestions and critiques, or do not post at all. Thank you.
If you want a realistic-looking blood drip, do a filter > liquify. Select the warp tool and drag down on your blood layer, and you'll achieve a drip effect.
For the record, for realism works such as these, you can find anything on Google. " * Tutorial" or " * Photoshop tutorial" will yield thousands of results on how to do that. I'm sure you'll find an overwhelming number of pages by searching for "blood drip tutorial".

blood doesn't normally pool up in the eye and go past halfway up the eye. I suggest zooming out more, and add more of a drip effect, and fix lighting and add a slight glare on it to give it a 3D effect.

I suggested he apply a colour burn to the blood layer, then use the smudge tool to get it how he want's, then add a slight bevel to it, and that would make it more like less flat.

That's what I was thinking, but that's not the main problem with it right now. I'm trying to get a better pic to use, but I can't find a close-up of a tear in someone's eye. :\
