I only like the render effects, the rest of the sig (background) looks really weird.

The render looks way to blurry, and the background is to plain.

Yeah, I don't like the blurriness.

The blurring of the render gets rid of any focal point.

I agree. Do a Filter > Sharpen on the render a few times.

The render is on about 15 different layers, but meh I'm done with this sig

Then duplicate all your render layers, merge them together, do the filters, and hide all your original layers. It's not hard.

Or you could just make a new layer, apply the image, and then sharpen it.

Then just erase everything besides the render.
