I just finished watching We Were Soldiers for the God-only-knows-how-many-eth time, and it made me think about reading about how the troops we sent over there didn't get a homecoming parade until the mid-late 80s, if I remember correctly, and it made me wonder how they would've felt after going through hell to come home to a public that ignored them, a government who didn't want to know. So, I decided to start drawing as I had nothing much better to do at 2AM, and drew this up.
I know it's not the greatest, and I've certainly done better, but it's something. Just pretend I did it when I was actually awake and that there's nothing wrong with it

It's rather hard drawing something recognisable at 2AM with a mouse. The big dark blob on/under his lips is meant to be a shadow.
