This ones gonna be tough. Grunt's looks good and all, but this is kinda handicapped, seeing how limited Fireworks is compared to Photoshop. (Grunt Uses PS7, Correct me if Im wrong)

But, Phosphorus's has a killer blood spray and muzzle flash effect, and Grunt's looks Generic with all the stuff on the Gamerenders/ChaosGFX circuit, so for originality, Phosphorus.

But phosphorus is all emo-y, and Grunt's is Generic, so Between the two, Phosphorus GMV

OK you use elements? what are you on? i am going to BUY a copy of CS2 so you don't have to use that ancient program... not really

I do not like the theme of Phosphorous' Cuz I'm Very Anti-emo (if u wanna kill urself don't complain to me just do it!)

Even still tho the effects are very nice.. I'm Still gonna have to go with Grunts (the only thing i didn't liek was the bit of the face that was duplicated...)

Im anti-emo, too. A person requested an emo piece after viewing my old one, so I made another.

to phosphorus: VERY well made, and VERY emo. love it, and btw, be an hero.

to grunt: i like the bakground work, and the fact that there's just a bunch of stuff there lightly layed on top of each other, it makes a very nice effect. i don't like the duplicated face either, unless it was mirrored, or lighter, or set on difference/exclusion and set to VERY low opactiy, or blurred. also, it's just a girl in there, feel sorta like it could have more in it, like her in another pose or something....

phosphorus' wins, but by a little; they're both GREAT.

Phos
The execution of Grunt Rebel's is better, but the concept and style of Phosphorous' fully makes up for that.

No Offense Phos But Really icky IMO opinion...

And that C4Dish "stuff" ruins it.

And its looks justa pic with some text and some randomd splots of blood.

The point of entry looks really blurry and to put it bluntly... Crap.

Theres just to much to look at.

Where grunts its blends together.. looks alittle Basic... but that basic Style Looks REALLY good. so...

Yes, exactly, its a pic with random splots of blood.

I dont think it's icky, but I could probably have arranged the right side better.

Focal point was supposed to be on the right, and it was made sorta blurry and lighter red on purpose.

Just looking over a bit, and read GBG's post, I think a small rebuttal is needed.

Well, Phosphorus has one thing that I find in Grunts to be non existant is a fluid flow of motion portraying a message.

The red text immediately stands out on the black backing, then your eye moves slowly downward, and you see the gun, the muzzle flash, then movement through the head, with exit, and the fade from all the dark thoughts and blood to a euphoric white light.

Grunt's Does blend well together, and that's what would ruin a piece. The blending made the focal point of the piece with a lot of empty space, makes the girl look nonchalant and seems unimportant. Maybe the core reason why I didnt was because of the Monotony of these pieces I've seen Everywhere. The coloring, and the style.
