What I meant to do was have a zoom effect on everything except the character. But the face got messed up, because it blended kinda funny...

i can hardly tell what's going on. if you're trying to make a zoom effect, try something other than a normal blur.

If you're going to blur everything except the guy, then sharpen the guy. The picture you started with is of such bad quality, I thought the whole thing was blurred.

Just posted the new one with Ravn's advice. Also, there's the fact that I had to screw up the character a little bit to blend it to make it natural. If I didn't, there would be like a distinct line of sharp and blurred rather than the fade that I was going for. Ravn's advice worked quite well. Hopefully you'll see what I mean.
