This isn't actually an issue with THIS particular site, but in my forums I'm having an issue with the avatars being mis-shapened. You can tell that they are because certain ranks (like site admin, gold, and platinum). Do any of you know why this is and how to fix it? Thanx!
Okay another question. This is an example of one of the threads from my Earth City forums.

I can't see in those links, but the problem is probably that you are uploading an image that is above their size limits, so it automatically resizes them for you.

But the strange thing is that all the images are the same size. But only the ones for site admin, gold, and platinum are squashed down. Bronze, Elite, and Supervisor are all okay.

please, Remove your avatar immediately. They break the rules by 10 pixels.

yea i see whatcha mean. it's only doing it to certain ranks consistantly, but all the pix are the same size...weird...

Hey T! Yes, I tried saving it in those formats but still nothing. The images are all the same size, so I don't know what the problem could be.

His isn't an avatar. It's a rank image.

We're getting off topic here. Cuda, PLEASE just PM me about stuff like this in the future instead of spamming my thread. I just had a question. That's all. If you don't know the answer, that's okay seeing as how I don't either, but the size of my avatar isn't a public issue.

could it be the sigs? dunno why it would be, but didn't know if that would have an effect on the whole post window.

As for you images, your ranks are gone, so we cant see them, and the first link to your site, are you talking about the buttons for the forums?

Tyrant is probably a sibling or friend using the same network. But if he's talking to himself, owned.

Not the same computer. Same network. Tyrant is my bro (same from Earth City), and Macrohard is a supervisor from his own forum, but there are nine computers in this house that all share the same network connection. Now can we get back on subject here? What could be the issue with the avatars? If they're all the same size in pixels then why are they different sizes on the page?

Even then, they should have individual IP's, Unless they're posted from the same PC, But seeing how theres multiple IPs that you have posted from, it could be a possiblility. For example, My IP had the .101, but if i go on my laptop has the IP suffix of .102 and my server .103. Even if theyre on the same network, the IP should Differ.

But back to the question at hand, we cant give a Diagonosis, seeing how theres no rank images to be seen.

Sorry about that. It was set so guests couldn't view the avatars so I just went ahead and fix it. Whoops. Thanks for taking a look at it. I've been kind of curious about it too.

EDIT:You know what? I think i just solved it. It's shrinking down the pictures but it's doing it with different sizes. Why it's being selective, we may never know. I'll just make some new ones so the sight doesn't need to do any auto adjusting. Case closed. Thanks for helping
