Note: no downloaded brushes/effect/whatever was used in the signature.. the only things I didn't create from scratch were the sprite and the font..

It's not the best, but this is my first sprite sig ever

but IMO, a sub zero (mortal kombat guy) sprite render would've fit better

lol, it definitely would have.. but I have no idea where to find sprites

Thanks for the comments, but I wasn't making this cuz I like sprite sigs.. I was doing it to prove a point.. this was made in 30 minutes.. w/o much imagination involved and without the revered "C4D effect packs" I might add.. sprite sigs are pretty simple..

Its not a race to see how much time you can get it done in. Heck i could get one done that fast. I prefer to spend my time testing things, trying different ways to get my effects.

Now. I dont like the sprite. The effect would be good but i would leave the legs on the guy. I dont like the text. Kinda looks low quality around it to me. Trust me. Just go nab a effect pack. Im pretty sure they got one for 15 creds there. It would spice the sig up.

Sandman, I like your style. It is like a grundgish abstract. Its pretty kick ass if I do say so myself.

Thanks for the comments.. yeah I know it's a sucky sprite.. but I don't have a good source for them.. and this was more to prove a point than to experiment with the style (although I did learn a few things)

I think it looks better w/o the sprite anyways..



Edit @ Grunt Rebel: I try to use only my own stuff when I make signatures.. I don't go for using other people's C4D or brushes. Not trying to put anyone down.. using brushes and whatnot is okay, but I feel more accomplished if what I made is 100% mine

I make all my sigs from scratch, and all my c4d's from scratch. Don't use stocks no more =p

Sprite tags are hard to make, don't put down anybody, especailly if you can't top them.

They are easy tho.. I think I did a decent job w/ the lack of a good sprite and a C4D pack in 30 mins.. I'm not trying to put them down, I'm just making a statement of truth.. sorry if you were offended, I just don't see what the hype is all about

Because my tag got me 3000 credits worth.
And you just make it seem like anybody could make them.
I mean, if SanderGFX and Wkkid and all those other people like it, then it means something to me, even though they like most of my tags anyways.
