It's actually one of my other ones w/ a layer removed.. and I thought it looked really cool so I tweaked it around a bit and recolored

Overall i dont like it. Im not a fan of those sigs. So i have have no idea how to make it better.

I love it.
To me, it looks like something inside the text is burning and wanting to get out.
In the "Sand" part of the name. Really cool.
Generally, it kind of looks like a cloud with some really cool lighting and shadowing effects applied to it. Very smooth.
Good job.
What could be improved: The center of it looks a bit dim for something too lightish. But if that's the way you wanted it to be, keep it that way.
Another thing, the right part is darker than the left, maybe you should try making the left part black and see how it looks.
