well you not reading them and following the steps but u have keep making them the same way.

-Make them the same size.
-Make The same BG everytime.

I think the grid is way too dark. It takes away from the depth of the signature. Also, the render looks a bit distorted. Make sure you hold down shift while scaling your renders down.

Try setting your grids and patterns to Soft Light or Overlay, whichever looks better.

I like the BDZ one better!
