H3 sig

My main focus was (Get ready for shock) THE TEXT! dun dun dun!
I see people use Halo text all the time but the truth is it looks like crap because well.......its plain, so i spent some time figuring out how to make it look like halo text and it worked
Then i burned the corner where chief is standing and used some brightness and contrast, then i got rid of the white crap all around MC, then blured the edges a bit and vualah!.
Thats it really, i wanted it to convey Halo 3 as much as possible so i didnt use any brushes, i just used a h3 preview image for the background.

The text isnt that great if that was the main focus of the sig...
It's too hard to read.
The chief is a little blurry around the edges, too.

yeah i did notice it was hard to read later on, sad thing is i didnt save the .psd so i cant improove it a little more :\
Also, i did blur the edges, maybe i over did it WAY too much, its been a habit of mine for a while even though ive improoved at my cutting skills.

I'm not partial to the Halo font in signatures, it just doesn't fit.

I gotta agree with T_H_C on this one. Not once have I ever Seen the Halo font used that actually looked good.

No offense,
But these Halo 3 sigs are getting on my nerves.
There just a screen shot with a poorly cut out render.(from bungies site)
and thrown together with some text.

I know there is a lot of h3 sigs, but I and the others did it because we are uberly excited for H3.

to be honest, i'm not excited for h3
however, i am excited for metal gear solid 4
as for the sig, i can understand that you made it out of excitement, and that's ok. I used to do that too

Probably one of your best, and I'm definitely glad to see a new current, but I think between the master chief and the background, there is no real focal point.

That background makes me sad...
i thought the last game would take place on some massivly evil ring with giant flood, and u get to ride on hunters backs.
No on earth in some thing that supposeably the forerunners made...
