Yes.

Telling someone what is wrong is the first step, but the second is what to do to help fix it. People can't push too far forward without know how to fix their problems.

The render is fine. If the render becomes too large it covers up the rest of the signatures brushing, which btw, no one should ever be proud of. Brushing is just taking something someone else made, and putting it together to make something, that should be theirs anyway. So if you really wish to make something spectacular and worthy of good comments. Go all custom. If you really cannot make something without using a brush, then make your own brushes from pictures and such, then combine them to form something.

Cuda is right about random brushing, however, it is not always bad. Random brushing can look fantastic if executed properly. Blend together the harsh eged, and make each thing look distinct, rather than a blurry pile of textures.

The text needs some work. Try a different font taht fits the image's theme. Chose blending option and adjust it to blend properly with the signature itself, thus to form a well balanced peice.

The color needs some work. The masterchief is green and yellow (gold), and the signature's brushing is the same general green. Try coloring it with multiple tints, shades, and variants. Try adding some sort of yellow to fit with the mast and patches on his armor. If you wanted to REALLY increase the renders size, you can do a closer up version of his head, but for the love of all things, do not center it.

Now, that is how to do Critique.

Like what Cuda said, the brushing is a little random. The render size is fine, but there's too much dead space. I'd recommend decreasing the number of pixels in your width. Try using some Brightness/Contrast, Levels, or Curves (Layer>New Adjustment Layer) to make the colors more vibrant and pleasing to the eye.

The brushing to the right of master chief also just looks a little drab. Try to make it more appealing and colorful.
