I find myself on a Friday night, after having come back from a party, and not being tired... again.
So, to put me to sleep, I listen to music and learn new techniques for designing.

I didn't follow any tutorials, I just started going and ended with this. What do you think?
Rate if you don't mind.


(If anybody cares--we have been comparing layer amounts--this sig has a total of 21 layers.)
Out of 10, 5, pi, I almost don't care.
Or, if rating isn't your thing, just post what you like and don't like. (About the sig.. not me. =x )

I think its nice i dont really do ratings becauce of most of the people who rate always rate 8/10 >_> and it doesnt mean anything i think this looks fantastic.

i like the colors >.<

But it's a neat sig, simple technique executed pretty well, but the colorless spot above the K looks kinda gross.

And to the right of the girl's head.

And for your multicolor, did you do a clouds layer mask on the color balance layers? Because I see lines where the color like...ends, and a new one starts.

No, no clouds.
Just a Color Balance and render stretching with a low opacity.

I know about the black/blank spots. I left them there because to me, it looked worse filled in with light.
It made the sig too bright.

I liked it with dark spots, that way it keeps your eye moving. It doesn't just rest at one spot.

Its ok some of the colours just dont work to well and theres like a massive contrast on her face and the bg is kinda dark. add some curves and adjustment layers and the text doesnt look too good. use a more simple font such as verdana, arial etc.

The font doesn't get much more simple.. look again. >_>

Also, there is no contrast on her face. There is no contrast at all. It's all filters and opacity changes.

Don't think i can, i'm sure someone else has done it before, and bbcode is probably patented anyway. Underscores are no new thing, i just happened to notice that underscores, when put together, make a single line, so i thought, a few people use a rating meter instead of numbers...why don't i think up one that's reasonably original? So i did. By the way, i only started counting out 25 underscores per meter as of the post when i announced so. Also, Ketchup, check your PMs for my retort to your retort to my retort from that argument we've been having about LIVE modding.

No, I just fall asleep faster when I am doing something that takes time and listening to classical music. I'm weird like that.
