srry for the double post but new annoyance, how do I make it so when I'm moving something around it doesn't snap to the end of the image?

Its easier to just make more precise movements with the arrow keys. And then it won't snap to the edge when you move it.

try using the smart guides. it lines everything up for you so you can move it fast with the mouse.

If you're zoomed out to 100%, it will snap to the edge from about 5 pixels away. If you're zoomed to about 400%, it will snap to the edge about 3 pixels away. If you're zoomed in pretty much any closer than that, it won't snap.

When doing a Free Transform (ctrl + t), your selection will still snap to the edge of the canvas if it gets close enough. Like I said above, no matter what kind of transform you're doing, zooming in about 600% or more is the easiest way to ensure your selection doesn't snap.
