My first tube sig. I just wanted to make one for the heck of it.
I really dont like the text, but that might just be me

First you should use a better font and then instead of painting the top(looks like u did) just do a bevel and emvoss. Also make scanlines

I did bevel, and about the font, I didnt like it either.

Could someone tell me where a good tutorial for scanlines is?
I have seen one, but it didn't make any sense.

you should merge ALL the layers exept the Text layer. Then apply the scanlines on a new layer. do not add any effects on the text layer.(a glow is ok, but no B&E, Drop Shadow, or anything that shows depth) set the opacity on the scanlines. then on the merged layer add the B&E settings to this.
