Welcome to WOTW #1
MMMMMMMMMMMMMM..MWallpaper of the Week

Well, I decided to start something like the SOTW up, but a little more creative. This is the Wallpaper of the Week #1. The rules are as follows:

Rules

1. The wallpapers must be in standard sizes with a ratio of 4:3. They may be no smaller than 800x600, and widescreens are allowed.

2. Your name must be somewhere in the wallpaper. If it is blended with the wallpaper and it would look cool, you may make it big and display it somewhere on the wallpaper. If not, please just place it in one of the four corners, in an easy-to-see pixel font.

3. Transparent wallpapers are, obviously, not allowed.

4. The choice of design is your own; please do not rip or use any work that is your own.

5. The theme of the wallpapers will be varied each week. (ie. spiderman, space scenes, etc.)

6. Please post your wallpaper as either a JPEG, a GIF, or a PNG. PNG saves with greatest quality, if your creation has a lot of specific details in it.

7. Please do not post full size wallpapers here. Provide either a link to the direct image, or a thumbnail to the direct image.

8. Please host your wallpaper on either Imageshack or Photobucket. (Imageshack is all access, Photobucket requires an account, so you can keep up with your portfolio. However, both are free.)

9. As always, text is allowed in your wallpaper.

If your wallpaper does not abide by the rules, it will not be accepted.

This Week's Theme: Halo

Halo again? Yes, I know that Halo signatures get boring, and that every Halo render in existence is whored, but these are wallpapers! They're much more original than a signature, and therefore they are a lot more fun to make. If this continues, which I'm hoping it will, you won't see a Halo theme for a while, anyway. So don't complain.

This thread is intended for submissions only. Please do not post something that isn't a submission unless it is extremely necessary.

Start submitting!! I will put up the voting thread with all of the entries at 8:00 PM, U.S. Eastern Time, on Monday, the 28th. Good luck!

lol. Its supposedly a Halo rendition of "Scarface". I was totally bored and my bigger bro is using the Steam account for Source. So I had nothing better to do.

I'd like to see some time put into these wallpapers. So far, none of the ones I have seen required much skill. And Soccerfreak, unless you change your entry so it abides by all the rules, I will not accept it.

ok here is one that I FOUND and did not make but I still think it is really cool. I do not wish to win this but I do think it should be for all to see (if you havn't already) ad if you have seen it, could you please remind me where I found it?

Thanks for your contribution, marine. Unfortunately, it can't be entered. And Twilkey, I know you didn't make that wallpaper. If you have some evidence that you did, then I stand corrected. But based on my knowledge of your photoshop skills, you couldn't make something that good. So unless you should me some proof, I'm sorry, I will not accept it.

And also remember that taking an image and putting your name on it it PLAGARISM!!! If that's what anyone has done, I recommend removing it from your post.

What proof can I give you. I can give you the file of when I saved it. It has all the layers on it. I dont know any other proof I can give you. Doesnt matter really. You said it was good and I am proud of myself now so if you dont believe that it is mine then owell.

Yes, yours meets the rules. It's kind of pixelated, though.
