Very good for a first, but I'd recommend not placing text over a render until you are experienced enough to make it blend well.

It's not over the render?..
Maybe the hair, but not directly over the chick..

It is quite good indeed for a first. One thing you might want to work on is a little less brightness on her hair and face.
Also, the transition from her face to the right side of the background is quite a stark contrast. Ease into newer colors for your first few sigs.
