Duplicate the text layer and give the bottom layer a slight gaussian blur. That will take away from some of the pixelation.

I don't like the colors either.. what looks cool with that color, make a new layer, fill it with a darkish blue and set it on overlay or soft light

Anti alias your second ones edges.. when you use the rounded rectangle tool make sure you check the anti-alias box..

I like the sepia toned Coloring. Adds a Nice kinda classy feel to an urban surrounding. I wont say Nothing about it being a sprite sig, but I think you should Reserve a toned sig like this for a real life.
