dear god I couldn't stop staring at it for over a minute. Then I had to wait a couple minutes with my eyes closed in pain because I hadn't blunk in one minute Anyway I don't believe you could do that with photoshop... its just too good.
lol, it's practically just photo manipulation.
Take some satelite photos, blend them together in parts and you have a nice texture.
Then begin with the planet etc!
