There's just something about the text in both that I don't like. Maybe it's just too...visible.

i like the bottom one more than the top, it reminds me of a cave

I like grungy sigs but these are a little bit too grungy. I like the top one.

V3 is the better one but I still think it's too grungy, to the point where it looks low-res.
