BANSHEE WARS

This mod has a couple good modifications for it. The settings you need to use are as follows.

Map to apply sppf to: Coagulation

Weapons on map and spawn weapon: Brute Shot

Gametype to play on: Slayer


///////MODIFICATIONS///////

8 Banshees on each side of Coagulation (16 banshees total on map)

Brute shot shoots visible plasma grenades

All spawns are fixed: You spawn on one side or another from the sky.







NOTES:

I tried cloning chunks but it only let me get around 7 banshees before it would blue screen people on xbc. The only way to get this to actually load in a good amount of time and successfully was to use the meta data from netgame equipment into banshees.

but seriously, even though this may be your first mod, try to spend some more time on your mods.

So all you did was duplicate some chunks and move some banshee spawns? I like the idea, but not the mod sorry, Take some more time, maybe make AI flying banshees to make it even better, and skin the map or something. You didn't do much in my opinion

This is an easy mod. No I couldn't spend more time on it since it was an easy but fun concept. What did you want me to do with an easy concept? Make it stupid and difficult? Oh and no I didn't duplicate chunks. The map is exactly and I mean exactly the same file size as it originally was. I modified it another way in which loads quickly over a system link without crashing. I bet if you dup a bunk of banshee chunks it wont load over system link. Before you go criticizing I would take the time to understand the concept behind the game created. Also no one said this was my first mod either. You assume before you have fact. Just because its the first time I post on this website doesn't mean anything. Just means I haven't posted here before. You want to be helpful? Well then give ideas instead of you could have spent more time on your mod kind of comments. Thanks a bunch for making me feel so welcome on these forums. For those that didn't understand the concept of simple design most of the nice things I said in there were extremely sarcastic so have fun trying to pick those comments out.

For those that actually tried this out as it was intended I hope you had a fun game with it. Also this isn't the last of these simple designs. I have been tinkering with a few other simple designs in which when I have time will post.

Simple design is all I have time for right now.

We can express are opinions on a mod in any way we like aslong as its not flaming, which I did not do, and no one else did, we expressed are views for your mod, and you got them, if you don't like it, then you clearly cannot except the views of others.

What would be cool is if they were different colored banshees. Such as blue and red. Also would be cool if you added ai banshees for lone players.

i like the idea for AI banshees but Ai are always stupid. LOL lots of corors woudl be cool, like give them all different skins, make some like a WWI tomahawk hehe idk if tomahawks are from WWI the one that has propellers adn a big shark teeth thing on the front

you should attach fusion coils to the banshees so they are very venerable from behind!
that would be cool, and maybe give the banshee secondary fire of a homing rocket, the just take out boost and increase speed!

Thats a great Idea. I may try the homing rocket. I may replace it with a different proj to cause less damage since that would be really cheap. I for a while had rockets on and it turned into a giant mess. Nobody flew the banshees anymore. I then had plasma pistols shooting plasma grenades. That turned into a bigger mess and nobody flew banshees. I wanted to just give them enough so they couldn't get spawn killed as easy. Even though it still ends up that way a lot of times. At least with the brute shot its hard to hit them and they have a limit of shots to make before they run out and have to fly.

cant you just give the guy credit instead of bitching how simple his mod is? you cares? if it is appealing and people like it then shut your mouth.

The very last bsp the one where u beatt the brute boss, That would be a very nice place to have a mod like this
