Yelo Beta Program

So I posted a thread in the Project Recruitment section a few weeks ago, looking for testers to help me debug current builds of Yelo and I didn't quite get the participation I was looking for. Anyways, I could really use some help with the testing of my trainer in syslink conditions as host and client...it's really the only thing I can't test at the moment. There is very little work involved, all I ask is that you hop on xbc or kai and give it a whirl for a good 15 minutes or so...then get back to me with some feedback or suggestions. I don't think that's too much to ask :?

If you would be interested in being a tester, download the file below and run as a trainer for Halo 2...wait for the blue startup screen, then press both thumbsticks and upload the sysinfo.nfo file that will be on your C drive. Then in a few days or so, I'll take all those files and release a build in this thread for you to test.

I used my build on Kai a week ago or so and it worked fine, I'd just like a list of all the commands that are enabled on this build. Also, I don't really have any suggestions, everything that I've used has worked flawlessly. And maybe its just me, but the screen captures I get from using this build seem higher quality, but that could be just me imagining things. Anyway, I'm sorry if I didn't put forth as much participation as you would have liked. =/

Mr Xbox7887, you have always known that I will lend a hand whenever I can. All you ever needed to do was ask. I have downloaded this program and will try it as soon as I can. I'm at school preparing for a test, so I might not be able to get this done for a couple days or so.

I'll apply for this. Good idea with how you're doing it - I'm guessing it reads data from the EEPROM? Wouldn't be too hard for someone familiar with the system to get around that by changing their own EEPROM, but I guess if they're that determined, they might as well be accpeted for the beta :P

I have my ways...if the trainer were to detect tampering of any kind, it would reformat the hdd  But again, if someone is determined (or skilled) enough to crack the multiple encryptions and eliminate all the checks without bricking their xbox, they deserve to have it anyways :P

I never saw the old topic, and thought it was pointless to ask late, but since this is here, I'll be happy to beta if i'm allowed.

Ill get the info.

So there are more checks other than EEPROM? Just as long as it doesn't kill my xbox when I change the dashboard... or change the EEPROM so I can use my other hard drive...

I think just making all weapons have no ammo in the players' hands would be a good (and mildly entertaining) punishment. Heck, that'd be a fun april fools' joke too, especially if you could make it only happen for a certain player # or profile in a split-screen game.

Don't worry, I will let you know before-hand what is checked, and if one were to fail it would only result in your xbox rebooting...all the malicious code is nested later on throughout the trainer, only being executed if you were to somehow bypass the initial checks through modification of some kind ;)

I can't remember ever seeing any code support for the dvd remote in the XDK, so I don't think so, sorry.

I'll be applying as soon as I get to my Xbox! I love Yelo!

Can I get a beta for both of my Xbox because I have two in different places.

Maybe you could check the code for the remote in XBMC?

Any chance that the new Yelo will work with Halo 2 v1.1a (the AU on the DLC disk)?
