I never got mimesis to work though I just download the map were the original post is but this is cool! I never could create a patch for P8ntball in serenity..

what does the autopatcher have to do with not being able to patch serenity's? the autopatcher is as selfexplainatory as the serenity program..

And that's where I fail. I just can't do them! Embarrasing as it is, I'll see if I can use the little app I downloaded.

Yes, the map loaded and played just fine for me.


And for whoever said they didn't download it because 1337 Meteors was not in it, I added 1337 Meteors to the Serenity Repositorytoo, so all you need to do is apply it to Ascension, and refrence you mainmenu with Serenity and it will add it.

ok fro some reason everytime i try to apply a patch in serenity and it says uncompressing at the bottom an error report comes up. what the hell am i doing wrong

Also, what patch are you trying to apply, and what is the error you get?

Sppf is good, but its not as reliable, stream line, or easy to use as serenity. Sppf has the crappy hippie screen. Thats all I have to say.

sppf good.. hippiescreen yes.. serenity much more comfort.
besides SPPF is much much, more reliable, since i've had several issues trying to make a serenity patch for maps. sppf can make a patch from almost each map. and i've run into several issues with serenity so i'd rather stick to using SPPF.
besides the serenity from forgotten room is >20mb, and the output map will always be 62mb after patching no matter what, but it's suppose to be 79mb... that goes for biohazard 3 also.

I am new here.

Can you help me. I used serenity but i can't play the map. I used the source map as my mainmenu.map, i got the real map(s) and i FTP them to my Halo 2 maps folder,but now when i try to play it says:
Waiting for everyone to load the map.

I have been waiting for over 15 minutes but nothing shows up. I turned of my xbox and still nothing. How do i do? And what is Output map for? i didn't use it, is that the problem?

EDIT: I have the PAL version, might that be the problem?
