Sounds interesting, but pictures will tell for sure.

You could consider using the underwater weather tag from deltatowers.map in this mod to make it more "underwater-ish."

Thanxs

try to take more effort into youre mods, i suggest taking up something intermediate, then go to something like ai. now that you know you can learn something on modding, you can try more intermediate or advanced things.

i said it as pollitely as i could.

take notes on this:

* not every thing has to be modded

* projectile swaps are out of date, unless used with a theme

* same with shader swaps

* you will get the hang of most of modding, once my vietnam is released( not making any promises, or trying to steal your topic) try to take some of the ideas, and form it into a good mod

* form a modding team, to cover specific spots in the mod

* i know you may be pretty good at skinning, so keep practicing with it, and come up with original skins, then create an original mod to go along with it, kinda like what iGeo did, nobody made an FaF mod vefore, and its his first mod

* it takes a while to make a great, and succesfull mod, like mine, its going on 2 weeks now and we still dont have a skinner = o.

try to take these into consideration, and try at some intermediate or advanced tutorials, i think the best thing to work around with would be custom effects, then work from there.

edit: this is constructive critisism, not flamming, im trying to help you make a better mod, and you will see the change between this, and a well themed mod, i hope you take this into consideration, because i wanna see pwnzor mods from you! lol . but im being serious.

edit 2: ill take pics for you from now on, just pm me, when you are abiout to release a mod, and ill be more than happy to. :)

I am a good skinner.. But most wouldn't know because I release one thing a year.. (Not to mention my lastest mod coming up in about a week or so. )

BUT ANYWAYs

This mod sounds ok, seems fun, not really a theme..(You know, like where everything is related..) but Good job I guess. You need to get some pictures.. I would take them.. But my xbox is not working now. I have a 360.. but no modchip.. so sorry about that.. ;(

But good luck in the future.

I have yet to see an effective skin that failed to utalize shader swaps, but I understand what you're saying by this. Certain shader swaps are ineffective in helping create a mood or assisting in building a theme.

I think it's pretty rude to use his topic to advertise your upcoming mod. Congrats on your coming mod, but don't hijack others' topics to get exposure for your mods.

A little bit too bright.

Tone it down a bit and it'd be cool though...this reminds me of that Ascension mod with the Nemo and stuff...good times.

Is it just for or does this sound like a MM Mod somewhat?

Flying Warthog
Auto-Fire on Some guns
Things Non-Modders can't do.

However nice job but WAY to bright

"Things non-modders can't do?" What do you mean by this? I have made skins in the past, and every single one of them are skins that non-modders can't see. Non-modders can't play modded maps, period. (Yes, they can be effected by modded gameplay, but they can not play the modded maps).

Also, I would remove any suggestion you have about this being a cheating mod. Discussion of this sorts are starting to get on peoples' nerves, including those of the staff members.

I'm glad you have pictures now. I do suggest putting the underwater weather in the map and toning down the glare a LOT.

It would be quite interesting to see water above somewhere to make it seem like you're in under-water ruins... or something like that. The brightness is way too intense though. Nice job none-the-less.

I disagree. I find you can get more accomplished on your own if you work at it.

I demand pictures next time you post a mod.

Sorry Chad, didnt even notice ;x

From the pictures, I guess it does seem under water A little. But the sky needs to be changed in my opinion. Alos, the Coivinant Carbine seems very plain. :)
