dude, sorry, didn't read the rules. i haven't tried it on xboxlive, i just thought it would be a good mod for anywhere. I won't put that on anything anymore.

dont have a trainer to catch pics, though would like to get one.
just a fun spawn/proj mod, for fun with friends or system link.

Hey, i downloaded a screencap trainer, but where do i put it in my xbox and how do i use it so i can post some pics for you.



and to elite747, some people just want to have a fun mod where you can have fun, and edit it by yourself to add other stuff. This is like a base mod for Sanctuary, I've made other, more hardcoremods(though none are for download) I'm not saying mine are better than some of the mods on here, there are some sweet ones, but i do say if i wanted to i could post a more done mod.. I do them for my friends, but they are just for slayer. We still like to play these fun mods everyonce in a while, so maybe there should be 2 diff. forums, one hardcore and one for fun.

I'd like to refer to some suggestions I posted a while ago

1. Post something that you know people will download.

2. Try to learn how to do more.

3. Go original when posting mods.

4. Spend time and effort on skins

5. If needed, AIM or PM somebody for help. Some good people helped me on a daily basis.

6. Projectile swaps, shader swaps, and editing heirchy tags (weap vehi bipd matg) are all just fine. But not when thats the only thing a mod contains.

7. Tutorials are the #1 things for new members. Check out the sticky in this section for tons of great tuts. (A sticky is a post that always stays above all others, and is usually marked with a differant emblem and/or the phrase 'Sticky:' before it)

None of these are ment as flame or offense to you. You don't even have to follow them, but its reccomended that you do by almost the entire halomods community.

I hope you don't take this info. the wrong way like the last guy. As I already said, I am just trying to help, not anything else.

The last thing I want to be known as is the rude one to new members, but when I have to quote myself 4 times to 4 people in 3 days, it just gets annoying. I hope I don't have to do this again, and I am sorry for doing it, but I feel as this is beginning to become too much.

It would have been nice to say that earlier. At first glance, this really does look like a new member's post. I'm sorry for the assumption. But you gotta add more when you post.

Also, we should really have a "no pictures, no thread" rule or guideline, there aren't any excuses for not having pictures now. It's just annoying.

I think a example of how this is, is.

Doing mods like this is like Drawing a stick figure, you just drawing it for fun and nothing big like a WebComic or art. But files.halomods.com are the readers of this WebComic or critquers(SP?) of this "art". And it doesnt appeal that much to us. And its something all of us can already draw easily.

Catch my drift? Its totally fine that you make mods like this, but when you release a mods here youre supposed to try to please the majority. Or in the case that you were new to modding, we would just help you out.

Yes, people do like to play fun mods, and mods like this arent often as fun as something that people can look around the map and say "Wow! Look at those detailed textures!" or "Check out the awesome new effects from this gun when I pwn that guy!"

OK... let me get this straight. You don't have a modded xbox with mods, yet your on Halomods... You don't have Xbox Live, yet you ask for his gamertag so you can play with him...

Either you don't have a clue what your on about (because I certainly don't) or you're covering up the fact that you do mod on Live (very poorly thought cover up btw)
