This map is an SP-MP conversion for the Mombosa bridge. There is only one weapon mod and one vehicle mod. But neither of them affect gameplay too much. The serenity patch uses the mainmenu feature. No lightmap changes.

Supported gametypes:
Slayer
CTF (but not neutral CTF)
Assault

SLC hsn not been tested yet

Bugs: one of the toll booths will freeze the game if you get too close or shoot it
the Ghost can't go over shadows without freezing
one of the BR's can't be picked up

Ok, well here are the pics:

And a special big thanx to snakejknight who taught me how to do conversions from start to finish.

That's nice, but I'd ask someone who's into bug fixing to help remove some of those bugs as they're pretty -> :( lame.

Nice job though!

Looks good but what map is this for I don't think I saw you put it in your post and is there deathzones so when you fall in the water you will die

this kicks ***. try to fix the freezing problem though. I'd hate to be driving the ghost and accidentally drive over one of the shadows and freeze the game.

Those are some pretty big bugs. Did you add all of the scenery in the spots they were supposed to go in?

this is what i call a lost bsp, noone uses this anymore because of that problem, there is also a huge glitch. right in the middle of the brige where ground is, you can just fall right through! Plus at this moment there is no way to take away the black spots of doom.

Gimme a break! Its my first conversion and I like playing it. And you can't fall off everywhere. Just 2 spots.

yeah dude it's good. but you should try filling in those black spots with something so that it wouldn't freeze.

still yet to see a successful mombassa bridge mod, close but no cigar. basically if anything freezes the mod then it sucks kinda, no offense you did good, but freezing just ruins it for gameplay.

I tried covering them up and it doesn't work.

Thats what makes freezing.

Looks pretty good. Hopefully you can fix those freeze spots on it though.

For the falling throughn parts just cover it up with a containment gate with nulled shaders so you can't see it at all.

dude defenitly not cool to post a mod in the serenity repository that got freezing issues all over the map. Iron forge setted up the repository for quality maps like mimesis not for your own custom freezing maps.
ps wouldnt it be great to have the repository full of your mods?

edit: besides you didnt even test systemlink, sorted out those issues. common who would like that.

Actually, I "setted up" the repository for all maps. Users will decide which are good and bad.. Things should work themselves out through the rating system, but users will only get out what they put in. If you vote up mods that are broken, you only have yourselves to blame.

i thought he tried to set an example. but mimesis maps were a good thing to start off with..
still i dont think there's place for unfinished mods.

In an ideal world, every map would be perfect.. I'm not implying anything about the quality of this map, but if a few bad maps make it into The Serenity Repository it's not the end of the world - it was designed to handle it.. People should be able to recognize quality gameplay and vote accordingly. The rating system is much more complex than your standard mean vote rating and actually works better with a broad range of maps - good and bad. It's all under control, trust me.
