Night Raid on Zanzibar

Map Description:
The ODSTs have landed in the Covenant Base in Zanzibar, Africa. The Covenant Base, ran by the Honor Guard Elites, is one of the most dangerous. The ODSTs, landing with nothing, must take advantage of a plasma rifle and a few gernades. Will they survive?

Map Features:
-Lightmaps = Dark
-Sky from Coag skinned black
-Spartans = ODSTs
-Elites = Honor Guard Elites
-Fuel Rod cannon swapped with rocket launcher
-Drivable Shadow!!! (Includes Driver, Gunner and Passenger seats)
-Drivable Gravity Throne with working gun and boost!!!
-Plasma Rifle replaces SMG
-Carbine replaces Battlerifle
-Plasma Gernades replace frag gernades
-Spawned a sword replacing the shotgun
-Spawned a beam rifle replacing the human sniper rifle
-Vehicle Barrier increased so the banshee and gravity throne can fly even higher than before

Note: ODSTs can not use the sword

although more scenery wouldn't hurt..just a little, like some patrolling banshees maybe..

Nice mod. The only suggestion I have is a little more active scenery, as SpecOp44 said.

Well sorry but I have nothing great to sa7y about this mod because you can do this mod by using tutorials. I guess just to be nice, excellent sig!

like what would u suggest? Honestly, it took me a while to make mods like this. I'd end up doing trial and error and reading many tutorials and stuff. If you have a tut on active scenery can you give me the link plz

swing and a miss, how is this a covenant base too? it looks like my garage on steroids, nothing real special just a few injections in insolence.

This looks like a mod my 9 year old brother would like to play this mod cause its all covenant stuff but i dont see any skins to make it look covenant stuff its just dark lightmapping and please host it on halomods

yeah, but how many ppl make mods with odsts and honor guards on the same map. I like playing as different characters. And also, this is my second mod after my decline in modding for about 2 months.

Looks cool, but use Xbox7887's screencap trainer to take pictures, they'll look much better.

ive had trouble getting that to work.

Looks great. You can fix the sword for the ODST's the same way you fix the flag and odd ball, but it looks odd... And I see one problem, your saying its in Zanzibar, Africa, but you can see your on the halo. But that moon and gas gaint look great, so overall its pretty good, but like r0tten and DoorM4n said, its kinda basic. But it still looks awesome. 7.5/10

I agree with DeathKindler, its annoying when theres a Halo in the sky of an earthlevel. Taking it out is easy, just go to the model for the skull and null out the Halo shaders.

And I like the fact that you set the permutations right for the ODST and Elites, usually people mess it up so it spawns with random gear which looks stupid.

Hey I'm new here and I have some questions:

1. When you click on the link to download this mod, do you have to type in those 3 letters to continue?
2. After you finish the download, it would say on my computer that I need to find a better source for the download, since it's an RAR file, so what do I do after?
3. I have WinRAR but have no clue on how to use it. So once I get this mod to download, do I open up WinRAR and do some things to it?
4. How the hell do you get the mod onto your Xbox?

Right click the mod and click Extract Here. You need to download a program called FlashFXP to get it on your xbox. Go to www.xbox-scene.com and search for FTP. Next time ask question in the New Users Forum.
