I say stick to the map, not weapon mods. Since this is a brand new map, I would keep it as much has a Bungie map as possible. This is looking really great, though!

What map do you apply this to? I think it would be cool with snow from lockout and some lighting like lockout. I like what's in the sky.
I agree. I think the weapons and stuff should stay stock. I guess it would be ok to do weapon skins and stuff maybe a few effect visual mods but don't change the gameplay since it is a newer map.

Nice. Hasn't been a good mach map in a while. It was starting to look like everything was going back to shader swaps with some of the stuff being released.
[edit] Ok, I checked it out and I'm back with some impressions. I like the setup and I really like those walkway things on the sides. They look hella cool (a bit bright compared to everything else, though--maybe with the updated shader plugin at Haloplugins it could be toned down a bit). It's a pretty good mod all around.
However, I feel it could use a bit more atmosphere. Maybe some kind of weather or something--looking out into that empty sky is just kind of... boring.
Some kind of scenery or something would be nice, too--since the map is made primarily of keyplugs, it's easy to get lost--it all looks the same.
There seems to be nothing going on in the lower level. Just a teleporter to get back up. It could benefit from some hvacs or grav lifts to make the playing field more dynamic--more ways to get back up and maybe some cover--boxes or whatever. Also, the teleporters seem to be backwards. The one that looks like a sender is a receiver and vice versa.
Other than that, I love it. I'm a huge fan of mach maps, and I especially like that you were able to put it together without having to sacrifice the lightmap.

Yes that was the best part. No nulling of the lightmap.

I cant add much scenery. but active scenery? hehe. yes I can add active scenery. Maybe a few covenant explosions?
What do you mean clear up the lighting with the uberlightmap tool? Theres nothing wrong with it atm.

very very nice looking, definately getting the DL now
btw: the whole grav lift thing sounds pretty good, with limited entrances/exits to certain areas makes a happy home for buttcrack campers

That was the point. Once you got to the bottom floor you had to fight to get to the one exit way.
