[Map Pack]Re-Release of Halo 2: LAN Party Edition!

A sad story.
As some of you my remember, back in October I announced a map pack compilation and an automated compiling program for it named the
Halo 2: LAN Party Edition Auto Compiler. I was planning to release this package on the one year anniversary of the release of Halo 2. I made the announcement some time prior to release because many of the map authors were undocumented and I wanted to allow time to gain approval and for people to post their names to be included in the package. Before the release date my posted topics were deleted without explaination several times and I was repeatedly harrassed by a halomods modderator. After this unwarranted abuse I decided to cancel the release.

A happy ending.
In celabration of the Halo 3 announcement I have decided to forgive, forget, and Re-Release! And as a reminder to the mods, admins and users, Please don't flame and talk to people before you shoot them.

Halo 2: LPE
Halo 2: LPE is a compilation of over 120 multiplayer maps form:
Halo: Combat Evolved
Halo: Conversions
Halo: Custom Xbox Edition
Halo Maps Final
Halo: New Map Project v1.1
Halo: New Map Project v2.0
Halo 2
Halo 2: Bonus Map Pack
Halo 2: Killtacular Map Pack
Halo 2: Maptacular Map Pack
Halo 2: Allied Map Pack v1.3 Full

Compiling LPE is incredibly simple. Once you un-rar the package you will see an executable named "Compile Halo 2 LPE" and a folder named "Input". Just copy your unmodded copies of Halo, Halo 2, and the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack into the Input folder and click "Compile Halo 2 LPE".
The program will run for about 30 minutes and when completed will replace the input folder with a brand new ready to burn Halo 2: LPE DVD image. The package is just short of 900 MB (50 MB smaller than downloading each map pack individualy) and requires 8 GB of free Hard Drive space to run (Not incuding the original games in the Input folder as they are deleted shortly after the program starts). And as I would hope very pleasing to the modding community, the package uses ppf patches and contains no xbes, M$ Videos, or even font files so it's legal! I am currently adding error detection and cleaning up the code a little but it should be done and posted on boxtorrent within a week. If anyone is willing to host for me or run a tracker that doesn't require registration it would help a lot. I have my own dedicated server but it isn't very fast.

I've included a couple little bonus features as well.
You can place any Bink video file in the Input folder and the compiler will use it as the intro movie. The default intro movie is the new Halo 3 Announcement trailer converted by me in full High Definition.(yes it's legal)
You can also place any wma audio file in the Input folder to replace the background music. But make sure the wma you use dosn't have copyright protection on it or it won't play.
I have included a debug option allowing you to veiw the command output if you're having problems.

My video capture card is not hooked up right now so I can't take any pictures of the DVD in action.
Thanks for your support, feel free to leave your feedback.

Tural, I just read the rules and regulations page to double check and it doesn't say anything about posting in this section without including a file, if there is another rule somewhere else I don't know about then I'm sorry I missed it. I'm just announcing it right now so I can get feedback and maybe find a host for the file but if I need to have this posted in another section please tell me where and I will move it. Oh, and thanks for not flaming.

If you would like I can post the unfinished version right now. It still works but has no error correction.

Thanks for defining that for me but this is not vaporware.
The reason I cancelled the release the first time was because of harrasment.
It was 100% complete and ready to upload, I was just trying to track down all the map authors. I have completely rebuilt it since then and due to popular demand I am uploading the beta as I am typing these very words. So, Vaporware, not even close.

Possibly, but as it stands the DVD is 4.4 GB, so there isn't much room for a new map pack. I guess I could remove the shared.map file, it is required to run any of the maps but is perminantly cached when you run Halo 2. So it will be avalible to LPE until another game overwrites the cache. By the way, you say you've been waiting for this forever, did you see my original post back in October? If so, I'm really sorry for making you wait but that modderator was being a real bleep hole.

Guys, if you need to tell him about regulations, keep it in the PMs. Do not clutter his topic.

Photos are up, that should be at least enough to convinvce you it's not vaporware. As for the download itself, it's still uploading.
