Mombasa Bridge *TEST*

First off yes this is the mombasa bridge. And yes i know it can be done in a matter of minutes. This is for the people that would like to get a start on the bsp conversion thingy. What i have here is a poorly modded bsp conversion for whomever would like to take a peak into it. I know there are lazy modders out there and other modders that dont have the privilege of doing these kinds of things. SO, for anyone who'd like to see a new bsp in multiplayer here you are. And i also am fully aware that there are like 10 people trying to do this same bsp and pefect it. For me, i'm not doing anything more. This was just a test on bsp conversions. Nothing more. Nothing less. Everyone spawns in the same spot. And there is a sniper that spawns right next to you. And also 2 warthogs that spawn on either side of you so you can get around quicker.

NOTICE: If you go too far into the tunnel the game will freeze.
NOTICE2: Do not fall in the water or jump in there because unless you still have nades you cannot get out.
NOTICE3: There is NOTHING on the map besides the 2 hogs and 1 sniper. Thus why i called it a *TEST*.

PS. If anyone wants to pick up where i've left this then go ahead. And also note that the map opens in dothalo np. Dunno about insolence but hell try it anyways.

I'm not here for any credit or to look good. I'm just putting this out for others to enjoy and look around and/or mod it further. Have fun everyone. Also it wont bother me if you flame. Flaming gets you nowhere and if you choose to then dont expect respect from me. Nodody likes to be flamed or made fun of so if you have nothing good or constructive to say then please keep it to yourself.

np man. I've heard that some people have problems with freezing. Well the only freezing i've seen is from the tunnel and being to far into it. But that can be easily fixed with a machine or 2. But ya this should be a good bsp to see what people can come up with, far surpassing this of course.

IT FROZE! In game of course. I was blowing up warthogs spawning with the brute shot and it froze. Also WHy dont the hogs spawn Properly and in the air instead?

lol that's odd. Mine hasnt froze. Tho i havent blow up any warthogs. And the reason the warthogs spawn a bit further up then normal is because it like i said is only a test of bsp converting. It was a quick little spawn this here and spawn this here for a little more hmph. The sniper for a better scoping weapon. And the warthogs for transportation to the other side or on the bridge. If you'd like you can replace the warthog with a banshee or something. And if anyone is wondering. i just replaced 2 needlers with the warthogs cuz its the first way of getting the warthogs in i could think of. I just switched them and re-positioned them with a itmc adder. hahaha honestly tho i didnt even think to change my starting weapon before entering the game. Nice... lol

Make sure you change the acceleration and deceleration unless you wanna be going 666kph and want to stop....*10 seconds later*

lol Good point scotty, Although killer warthogs do sound kool! Na ill do the acceleration and deceleration thing. And the speed is for faster trips to and from each side!

You Dont get it do u sniper, he made this and decided to give every one a start on it. Hes not going to ccontinue this or he might just not to keep releasing. This is just so people that have trouble dont have to go through the problems of getting the map to work. Im going to work off this to.

If you want to stop the freezing, block off the tunnel, seal the sign next to it, and put all the scenery where it belongs... Like this:

Nice job swampy lol. Although for the new bridge im going to change it and not have so many crummy civilian vehicles and stuff.

If you don't add all of them that are [scen] tags, the game will lock up with a vehicle enters the collision bounds of where the object is supposed to be... If you want to leave out [bloc] tags, that works fine...

[scen] is going to be a major problem in sytemlink. i wonder how the guys will figure that out.

Yeh i didnt think of that but thats a lot to do when all you really wanna do is play! But the Brisge is going to be a big modding thing now id like to se greennc pull out a skin for this. Oh and would you guys have a good tutorial to add guns and vehicles. Because ive always wanted to learn it and this mod im going to need it.

Hey, I did it in a week, and that was 5 or 6 months ago... There's a real easy way to get all the scenery in the map verbatim... In around 5 minutes... I'm sure you all can figure it out right? I don't have to tell you how it's done, do I?

Yeh weve gotten this far so we prob aint need you swampy. But im just curious is it just like dragging all scen pieces from that map over to the mp one.
